- Originally from Alton, Illinois, I work as clinical nurse coordinator at a children's hospital in St. Louis. I was supposed to have gotten a Masters in Italy, but was unable due to visa problems, so I am what I always was: just another American in America.

I am so sorry that things haven't been going your way! What a bummer!!! I hope you have better luck skiing. Who knows maybe you will see a bear or a moose!! By the way how cold is it there?
So your nephew really misses you. While he was watching Snow Dogs last night, Carey told him that you were in Alaska with those dogs. So tonight we have this conversation:
Nathan: Go to Aunt Ya-ya's gouse (house.)
Me: Yaya is in Alaska.
Nathan: Yaya in Ayaska with the dogs.
Me: Yep, that's where she is.
Nathan: I want to go to Ayaska with Yaya and dogs, too.
I told him he could go when he was older, so I guess we will have to plan another trip there, only we definitely aren't going unless it is summertime.
